The festive programme of the Mid Ulster League suffered at the hands of the cold spell over the festive period. Only one game of the entire schedule survived the inclement conditions. Crewe did not manage to host any of the several friendlies that had been arranged over Christmas and New Year.
This Saturday, 9th January, the first team are scheduled to take on Lower Maze in a derby fixture at Crewe Park, kick-off 2.15pm. The Reserves are also in derby action against rivals Ballymacash in the O’Hara Cup with a 1.30pm kick-off. As this is a cup game it will be played to a finish with extra time and penalties of required.
