Crewe Park will host its first International side as Norway Under 17’s use the new pitch at Crewe as a training base for their visit to Northern Ireland.
The Norway U17 side are visiting the North to play against Northern Ireland U17’s who are preparing for the U17 Elite Stage Tournament. The two sides meet at the Riada Stadium on Tuesday the 2nd and Thursday the 4th March. Before that Norway will train at Crewe on Monday 1st March from 7.30pm.
It is an honour for the club to be recognised as having facilities to host an Interntaional side and hopefully it is the first of many as Crewe try to bring high calibre football to the Glenavy area. Any coaches or players interested in seeing the training session are more than welcome to visit Crewe Park on the night.
