Reserves ‘Crues’ To Win

Crewe United Reserves followed on from where they left off last season with a resounding 5-1 demolition of Gilford Crusaders at Crewe Park on Saturday.

Joe Patterson got his managerial career off to a flying start with a comfortable victory in the league opener at Crewe Park. It was a good performance from the Reserves and a reminder to the First team squad that places are up for grabs in both teams this season. The Reserves squad looks as strong as ever with the addition of a few new faces such as Terry McCarthy and Mark Booth, as well as a few old faces like Matt Murphy, Paul Lavery and Marty McCartney all returning to Crewe Park.

The Reserves will hope to chalk up another 3 points this coming Wednesday at Crewe Park (Kick-off 6.30pm) against Stranmillis.
