Crewe United once again kick off the Annual Formal weekend with a Charity game. This year VOYPIC is the designated charity, an organisation which helps young people in Residential Care, Foster Care or any experience of care. Kick off is 7pm on Friday 14th October, the night before the club formal.
Ever year the club designates a charity for which to raise funds for on the weekend of the Formal. VOYPIC is a very worthwhile charity, helping kids who have experienced the Care environment and helping them to build a sound environment in which to live their lives. Crewe Vice President George Smith was instrumental in selecting the charity this year as he has helped in the work of the charity and worked with young adults who have been in care. More information on the charity can be obtained on the VOYPIC website.
The Charity Match will see the Crewe Legends once again dust down their boots. The like of George, Norman Stewart, Big Freddy, Thomas McKenna, Andy Rushton will all seek to roll back the years on the hallowed Crewe Park turf! Its sure to be another good night of entertainment and we hope everyone will support his good cause.
