Crewe Up For Derby Day

Posted on November 24 2011 by Thomas

Crewe United prepare for this Saturdays Derby clash against Lower Maze at Crewe Park. No doubt it will be the usual ‘blood and thunder’ game and Scotty Mulligan and Tommy Kempson will be looking to score again against their rivals as they did last season at Crewe Park.

The Reserves are also back in action as they travel to Craigavon City Reserves as they seek to regain some league form after losing two games on the bounce. It will be a tough game with the newly promoted Craigavon side having a great start to the season.

The First team seek to build on a great 3-0 win at home to Markethill last Saturday and have only lost one league game so far this term. Crewe sit just 3 points behind Lower Maze but the Maze men have played twice as many league games and the Glenavy side can leap-frog them with a win on Saturday, and keep the pressure on the top teams.
