After a prolonged Christmas break from football due to the weather both Crewe teams were back in action on Saturday. The firsts suffered a shock 5-0 defeat to struggling Markethill but the Reserves managed a convincing 2-1 win at home to Portadown BBOB. Crewe United swooped  for three players over Christmas with more signings confirmed. Paul Lavery (right)  and  Mark Tweedie (middle) signed from Kilbride and Conor Delaney (left) from Sport & Leisure also signed.
