Queens Mavericks were shot down 3-1 as Crewe United moved into the quarter finals of the Marshall Cup were they will meet Hill Street. Coly Teague, Scotty Mulligan and new signing 'Cub' McCullough were on the score sheet.

Crewe United moved up to 4th in the league with a 3-1 victory over Bourneview with Tommy Kempston (right) scoring two while the Reserves won 3-2 away to Silverwood with Tel McCarthy also bagging a brace in the victory.
