Pablo’S Doo At Crewe!

The Crewe members all got together on Saturday night to raise money for Paul 'Pablo' McStravick who suffered a treble leg fracture in a match in February. The club organised a 'legends' game followed by a Karaoke night in the clubrooms.

Crewe United made it only one loss in the last 7 games with another convincing home victory against Fivemiletown. Morgan Denny and Jim Hetherington both grabbed a brace as the Glenavy men secured all three points.

Denny Is Sizzling!!

Morgan Denny scored his 4th goal in three games as Crewe deservedly beat Dollingstown 1-0 at Planters Park to put a huge dent in their title hopes. A superb effort from the Glenavy men saw them become the first team to defeat Dollingstown in the league this season.

‘Tweedie’ Gets His Bird!

Crewe winger Mark Tweedie resolved his scoring problems on the pitch by getting engaged to the lovely Kathryn Walker. We wish them all the best for their future together!

Crewe’s Double Delight

Both Crewe teams came out victorious on Saturday as spirits lift once again around Crewe Park. The First won 2-1 against Seapatrick after playing most of the game with 10 men and the Reserves ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against Lurgan BBOB.

Crewe ‘Bourne’ Again

Crewe made it four points out of six as they defeated Bourneview 3-1 at Crewe Park. Goals from Tommy Kempston, Jim Hetherington and Scotty Mulligan confirmed the Glenavy sides return to form as they begin to move up the table once more.

Crewe United set off on their travels once more in the Irish Cup this Saturday as they travel to Ardstraw of NI Intermediate League. A win would see Crewe into the 3rd Round of the prestigious cup but no doubt a hard battle awaits.
